Welcome! I’m JP Mack, a novelist crafting stories that blend action, thriller, crime and romance into unforgettable stories. I started writing my debut novel, Caught in the Sights in the late 2000s. Between raising our four children, work, and life in general, it was put on the back burner until I realized that writing, creating engaging and memorable stories, is my true passion. I revisited the manuscript and seriously began the editing work and did what was necessary to get the book published. I am thrilled with the result!

After completing Caught in the Sights, I began writing The Heritage. The mysterious villa in the book is based on my childhood home. Like Caught in the Sights, The Heritage sat in my old Mac and on various thumb drives over the years. I brought both manuscripts out for updates and edits in early 2025 when I finally became serious and committed to my passion for storytelling.

I live in the beautiful countryside of Switzerland, where I share life’s quieter moments with my wife,and our two spirited Galgo greyhounds. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me exploring mountain trails, cooking fabulous recipes, sipping strong coffee, or plotting my next twist-filled tale.
